Quantum Silicones: Our Silicones - Your Solution!

  • Quantum Silicones' QM130T is a two component translucent, room temperature condensation cure silicone material. The material has been specifically designed for vacuum bag applications. When catalyzed with QM Cat Clear Thixo 2 the resulting material is extremely thixotropic. QM Cat 130T is also available for non-thixotropic, flowable, applications. The cured rubber has excellent properties and good shelf life stability.

  • Tuf-Gel 330 is a clear, tough, moderately cross-linked silicone elastomer which has good, room temperature cure adhesion to many substrates. Silicone gels are used to provide protection from vibration, thermal or mechanical shock. Silicone gels also provide excellent moisture protection.

  • Tuf-Gel 331 is a blue-tinted, clear, tough, moderately cross-linked silicone elastomer which has good, room temperature cure adhesion to many substrates. This material also has enhanced flame retardant properties compared to standard gels. Silicone gels are used to provide protection from vibration, thermal or mechanical shock. Silicone gels also provide excellent moisture protection.

  • QSil 556 is a 100% silicone solids elastomer designed for electronic potting applications. This two component system offers a hard, thermally conductive, low modulus material that is readily repairable.

  • QSil 960 is a red, high-temperature, self-leveling, 2-component silicone material primarily intended for potting applications. This material is typically mixed at a 100:0.5 ratio, however the catalyst level can be increased or decreased to obtain the desired cure speed. (QSil Deep Section Catalyst can also be used at a 100 parts of base to 10 parts QSil Deep Section Catalyst, by weight). Once mixed, the material is self-leveling and will have a useful work-life of approximately 60 minutes. The material will be fully cured after 24-36 hours at room temperature. This material can also be vulcanized at elevated temperatures to increase the cure speed.

  • QM 245 - Our 45 durometer addition cure moldmaking product used for restoration, picture frames, and molding polyester, rigid & foam polyurethane.

  • QM 2125 - Two-component, room temperature condensation cure silicone material.

  • QLE 1101 Blue - This is a modified version of QLE 1101. QLE 1101Blue has a work-life, measured as a doubling in viscosity, of ~11 Hours. In addition the "B" component has a blue dye that allows for ease of differentiation between the "A" and "B" before mixing as well a homogeneity of mixed "A" & "B".

  • QSil 573 - This is a low viscosity (6,000 cps), addition cure potting material. The thermal conductivity is ~0.90 W/mK. The dielectric constant is slightly higher (~3.5) than our standard Qsil 55X series materials. The gravity is also high at 2.10g/cm3. This material is ideal where greater thermal conductivity is demanded above the normal range of our other Qsil 55X products. This grade has good thermal conductivity but does not utilize exotic fillers.

  • QLE 1050SB - This is a self-bonding version of QLE 1050. This product has improved inhibition resistance compared to our standard QLE 1050.

  • QM2225 - Two component, room temperature condesation cure material.25 duro, long working time, excellent flow, GFRC resistant

  • QM255 - Our 55 durometer addition cure moldmaking product used for restoration, picture frames, and molding polyester, rigid & foam polyurethane.

  • QM263 - Our 60 durometer inhibition resistant addition cure moldmaking product.
